Help Us Expand Afghan Geeks

Afghan Geeks is a grassroots initiative aimed at teaching coding to women in Afghanistan, many of whom lack access to essential resources. Some students already have laptops and internet access, but others need additional support to fully participate in our program. Currently, I manage this initiative using my personal resources—paying for online tools, courses, and operational expenses out of pocket. With your help, we can reach more students, bridge resource gaps, and expand this effort.

How You Can Support Us:

  • Laptops for Students in Need:

Many students cannot fully engage because they lack the necessary tools. If you have a laptop or device you no longer need, donating it could make a huge difference for someone eager to learn.

  • Fund Online Learning Resources:

Help us cover the cost of online courses, software subscriptions, and tools essential for teaching programming and technology skills.

  • Provide Real-World Projects:

Partner with us by providing tech projects for our students to work on. These projects allow students to gain experience, and they’ll be paid for the work they complete.

  • Create Internship and Job Opportunities:

We’re looking to connect with companies willing to offer internships or entry-level roles to our talented students. These opportunities are vital for building their confidence and careers.

  • Guidance from Women in Tech:

Are you a woman in tech? Share your expertise to guide and inspire our students, helping them gain confidence as they navigate their learning journey.

  • Volunteer Your Expertise:

Whether it’s teaching, running a workshop, or sharing advice, your knowledge and time can make a huge difference for our learners.

Why Your Help Matters

This initiative isn’t backed by a large organization it’s a one-person effort driven by passion and purpose. Every contribution, big or small, helps create opportunities for Afghan women to learn coding, build projects, and improve their lives.
